- Stage 3 students should be reading every night for at least 20 minutes. It is really important to maintain this as it is excellent practice for training your brain. The expectation is that Stage 3 students read novels or books that have chapters. We are also encouraging Stage 3 to borrow a variety of novels that cover different stories.
- Stage 3 students can also complete independent research on the topic we are studying. The topic for semester 1 is First Contacts: Colonisation of Australia.
- In Maths Stage 3 students can explore their own maths questions using playing cards. Our students are very accustomed to using the playing cards and creating problems that they can solve at their own level.
- Students can also access Google Docs and finish any work their teacher or Miss Harris has set. World Book online is also an incredible resource for students to access. The username is blackwell and the password is blackwell.
